How can DC faith communities support young people to change our city? For 25 years, Peace First has been helping young people change the world. Come hear from Peace First founder Eric Dawson and DC’s own young changemaker and Peace First Fellow Yasmine Arrington about how young people can lead change. Eric Dawson is CEO of Peace First, which he co-founded 25 years ago as a student at Harvard University. He has recently published Putting Peace First: 7 Commitments to Change the World. He’s also a Unitarian minister and a chaplain to social innovators. Yasmine Arrington is CEO of ScholarCHIPS, which she founded as a DC high school student in 2010 to support children of incarcerated parents. She is a recent graduate of Howard University School of Divinity.
