Parliament of the World's Religions Workshop: Innovation Leadership for Social Impact

Past event. innoFaith presented the following workshop at the 2023 Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago, IL, August 2023.

Faith leadership is changing. As clergy, lay leaders, and non-profit leaders in the 21st century, we face leading our organizations through rapidly emerging complexity, with significant challenges and opportunities. Our organizations are also rooted in communities experiencing that same complexity through new and evolving social challenges - climate change, gun violence, housing affordability, economic disparity, racial injustice, mental health, and more. As we seek to lead evolving organizations, serve evolving communities, and address evolving challenges, we need some new strategies and mindsets. We need to be able to innovate - to think about problems differently, to see new opportunities, to build new solutions. Leaders who serve with an innovation mindset stand to contribute exponentially – both in their organizations and in the community at large. Join us to learn some innovation mindsets and strategies to level up your ability to innovate for the good of humanity.

Workshop & Conversation: How Can Faith Communities Support the Civic Capacity of Children?

As we enter the giving season, how can we make giving more meaningful for children? As faith communities, we try to teach children to look out for the needs of others, to empathize, to share what they have, to do what they can to make the world a better place for all people. But do our kids really know that they matter to their community? Our current practices of engaging kids in community are often outdated and unevenly focused on children of means. What is the future? Come learn, explore, and share your own insights about how to provide the right foundation, help all kids find their unique path, and then get out of the way!

innoFaith is a promotion partner for this event put on by our friends at Faith + Finance.

When billionaires are made richer in a pandemic while millions face evictions, we know in our hearts something is wrong. It doesn’t have to be this way. But what are the alternatives? How can we help build a more just and loving economy that works for ALL of us?

Join the Faith + Finance community as we explore how the economy works and how it can become an expression of our deepest values. This series is organized into four sessions that build in succession as we dive deep into what it means to put spirit and ethics into action.

All sessions are free to attend, but you will need to register to access the recordings.

Soularize 2021

Past event

We are thrilled to be a partner for Soularize 2021! Soularize is a global learning party, a collaborative community built just for spiritual innovators. As faith communities around the world begin to envision a post-pandemic society, we need to engage, connect, and unleash collaboration and creativity. Our desire is to provide a space to interact, discover new and diverse voices, build relationships, and grow resources to help encourage and launch projects.

innoFaith will be a partner for the Soularize Start-up Pitch Gallery. We invite you to submit innovative concepts within this year’s theme, Humane Spirituality. Through this theme, we will explore the question: How might we reframe issues to inspire human dignity to all through the pursuit and practice of empathy, equity, and inclusivity?

Soularize 2021 blends local and global engagement. Our app is your key to participating from anywhere in the world. During the months leading up to Soularize LIVE, you’ll have the opportunity to present ideas, ask questions, and collaborate with a diversity of innovators. Then in October, we’ll gather as a community. Join Soularize LIVE in Southern California, watch with your local Village, or stream our content online from wherever you are.
